Senior Colorist & Master Stylist
Alexandria Watson, the owner and operator of Alexandria’s Salon, received her training with Vidal Sasoon in London, England, where she graduated with distinction. Following graduation, Alex remained in London to work for Toni & Guy as she developed a special interest in color. She received many accolades for her innovative style and performance. Alex returned to the States in 2004 and settled in Miami area where she specialized in hair coloring. In 2006 she opened her own salon in Mt Pleasant SC. Her creative vision integrates the harmony of cut & color to create a customized look that brings out the best in her customers.
In 2014 Gina moved from Chattanooga TN to join Alexandria’s Salon & Spa as a lead stylist. Gina received her training in Asheville NC working with Carmen Cutrona. She mastered the art of dry cutting and found special satisfaction in helping customers correct their color. She has extensive training in Keratins and Ombre and takes excellent care of her customers. Come by and see what she can do for you!
Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Alexandria’s Salon & Spa. She trained and worked in New York and Metro area for 6 years before moving to South Carolina in 2014. Melissa is unquestionably one of the best cutting stylists in this area. She is always focused on incorporating todays’ trends and styles into a complete salon experience for her valued customers. Master Stylist & Bridal Specialist
Shelley comes from Michigan and joined Alexandria’s Salon in 2015. She graduated from Protege Academy in 2008 and furthered her education in Italy at Kemon Academy. Shelly enjoys all aspects of the hair industry and is very experienced in Special Occasion styling and photo shoots. She welcomes you to her special chair in the salon.
Jenna joined Alexandria’s Salon in 2012 after relocating from New Hampshire. She has two professions, Hair Stylist and High School English Teacher. Her hair training and experience is extensive and her clientele may continue to book with her at Alexandria’s Salon for Tuesday & Thursday afternoons, Saturdays and school holidays.
Brianna and her Air Force pilot husband transferred to Charleston in 2015 from Arizona. Brianna received her training at Taglio College and is a color artist. She is experienced and knowledgeable in many color lines to include Balayage. Come in and see how skillfully she blends her talents with your hair.
Mid Level Stylist
Hunter is a native of Charleston! She has been a stylist for 6 years. After graduating from Paul Mitchell hair school she worked in downtown Charleston for 4 years. In 2015 moved to Nashville TN where she specialized in men’s cutting, set styling design and make-up. She recently returned to Mt Pleasant to work with AS&S as their lead barber. Hunter is skilled in cutting and up-do’s.
After a well traveled life and a banking career in Atlanta, Georgia. Whitney followed her true calling as a stylist. She trained and graduated from Paul Mitchell and continued classes with Vidal Sassoon in Chicago. She has an effervescent personality giving an uplifting experience to each of her clients.
Mary graduated from Ashley Hall in Charleston and is now in training at Paul Mitchell hair school. She hopes to graduate in October as a junior stylist. Mary will continue at Alexandria’s Salon & Spa where she has been working part time since April 2016.
Each one of our stylists is qualified and experienced in many color lines, cutting forms and fashion techniques. All of them are professionals in their field.
Tina Bolte is a US and UK trained Esthetician. In 2002 she trained and worked in a large Atlanta salon. In 2005 she moved to New Zealand where she continued to train in the field of esthetics. Tina earned the prestigious UK qualification CIBTAC, graduating highest in her class and was awarded credit honor. Throughout her career, Tina has continued to advance her knowledge through higher learning. She holds extensive skin care certifications from the International Dermal Institute. Tina joins Alexandria’s Salon & Spa ready to provide each and everyone with the most wonderful face care experience. Not only will you feel good but you will learn how to manage your skin so you can dazzle daily. Tina has special qualifications in microdermabrasion, peels, aging skin and makeup application.
Lacey is from is Cope, SC. In 2002 she moved to Charleston and attended Miller Motte Technical College for massage therapy. With every year that goes by she loves her work even more. Deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage and swedish are the modalities she uses the most. This is a very specific and focused type of work, and it is also a great source of pain management. However, she absoulutely loves doing the more deeply relaxing body treatments, such as sugar scrubs and body wraps.
